Web design

A website that works as hard as you do

We design and build fast, accessible websites in English and Spanish, with an editor your team can use without calling a developer. Made to be found, to be read on a phone and to bring you customers.

What a site is for

Your website is the first employee a new customer meets. It should explain what you do, earn trust and make the next step easy.

  • Clear in five seconds

A visitor should know what you offer, who it is for and what to do next before they scroll.

  • Quick and comfortable on a phone

Most visits start on a phone, often on a weak connection. If it is slow or awkward there, people leave.

  • Findable and measurable

A site that nobody finds is a brochure in a drawer. We build it for search and set up the numbers that show what it brings.

What you get

Built to be used, found and kept up

  • Design that fits your brand

Layouts built around what your visitors came to do, using your colors, your tone and, ideally, your own photos.

  • Fast on a phone

We build the phone version first and keep pages light, because speed decides whether people stay.

  • Easy to edit

Change a price, add a post or update a team page yourself, in an editor made for people who do not write code.

  • Ready for search engines

Clean structure, page titles and descriptions, a sitemap and structured data are part of the build, not an extra.

  • Accessible

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, so people who use a keyboard or a screen reader can use your site too.

  • English and Spanish

Each language gets its own pages and addresses, so each one can show up in search on its own.

How we think

Content first, decoration second

Many websites start with how they will look. We start with what the visitor needs to find out and do. Once we know the pages, the order of the information and the one action each page asks for, the design has a job to do instead of just being pretty.

That is why we ask for your texts early, or write them with you. A design made around placeholder text tends to fall apart when the real words arrive. If you do not have the words, we can help you find them: it is part of the work, not an obstacle.

We choose the tool to fit your site, not the other way round. Some sites are best on WordPress, others on a lighter setup, and online stores on Shopify or WooCommerce. We explain the options in plain words, including what each costs to keep running, and recommend one.

And we build so you are not locked in. The domain, the hosting account and the content belong to you. If you ever want to work with someone else, they can pick up where we left off.

How it goes

From first call to launch

  1. Discovery

We talk about your goals, your customers and what you already have. You tell us what is working and what is not.

  2. Structure

We agree on the pages and what each one must do before anything is designed, so there are no surprises later.

  3. Design

We design the key pages for phone and computer. You see them and comment before anything is built.

  4. Build and content

We build the site, set up the editor and load the content. If you do not have the texts, we help write them.

  5. Launch and care

We test, launch, train your team and check the results afterwards. Ongoing care is optional.

How we work

What you can check, not just believe

  • Your own accounts

Domain, hosting and analytics are registered in your name. You can add or remove people whenever you like.

  • Both languages from the start

We plan English and Spanish together, with their own addresses and titles, instead of adding a translation at the end.

  • Tested before launch

Phones, computers, forms, speed and accessibility are checked, and you try the site before it goes live.

  • Written instructions

We train your team and leave short guides for the things people do most: editing a page, adding a post, changing a price.

Send us your address and what you want the site to do. We will reply with a clear plan and a price.

Is it for you?

This is a good fit if

  • You have no site, or one you would rather not show

A site that looks dated or does not work on a phone costs you customers you never see.

  • Your team needs to edit its own content

You would rather not wait for a developer every time a price or a paragraph changes.

  • You sell in two languages

You want English and Spanish handled properly, not a translation plugin bolted on at the end.

FAQ

Web design questions

The things people ask before we start a website.

How long does a website take?

Most business sites take between four and ten weeks. The biggest factor is how quickly we get your content and your feedback, so we give you a calendar once we know what is involved.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the number of pages, the features and how much content we help write. After a short call we send a written proposal that lists what is included, so you can compare it with any other quote.

Can you redesign my site without losing my Google rankings?

Yes. We map every old address to its new one with redirects, keep the content that already performs and check search results after launch so problems are caught early. We have a page on this.

Will I be able to update it myself?

Yes. You get an editor for pages and posts. We train your team during launch and leave short written instructions for the things people do most.

Which platform do you build on?

We recommend the one that fits your case: WordPress for many business sites, a lighter setup when speed and simplicity matter most, and Shopify or WooCommerce for stores. We explain the choice and its running costs first.

Do I own the website?

Yes. The domain, the hosting account and the content are registered in your name, and we are added as collaborators. If you leave us, you take everything with you.

Can the site be in English and Spanish?

Yes, and it is one of our strengths. Each language has its own pages, addresses and search titles, and the site links the two versions so search engines understand them.

Do you write the content?

We can. If you have the texts we use them, and if you do not we write them with you, in your voice. Nothing goes live without your approval.

Will my site be accessible?

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, which covers things like keyboard use, screen readers, color contrast and text size. We test for it before launch.

What happens after launch?

We check the first weeks of results with you and fix what shows up. After that, you can run it yourself or have us look after it every month with a maintenance plan.
